In Hout Bay, a suburb of Cape Town, we watched Cape fur seals and enjoyed grilled Hake. The town has cozy accommodations, eateries, and opportunities for hiking and sightseeing. Our attempt to snorkel with the seals was cut short due to their territorial behavior, but the experience was still rewarding. We ended our day watching the sunset and enjoying a meal at Fish on the rocks. Hout Bay may be small, but it’s worth exploring.
