Discovering Hout Bay: Seals, Scenic Drives, and Local Delicacies

In Hout Bay, a suburb of Cape Town, we watched Cape fur seals and enjoyed grilled Hake. The town has cozy accommodations, eateries, and opportunities for hiking and sightseeing. Our attempt to snorkel with the seals was cut short due to their territorial behavior, but the experience was still rewarding. We ended our day watching the sunset and enjoying a meal at Fish on the rocks. Hout Bay may be small, but it’s worth exploring.

The sanctuary, known for its high tiger density, offers an extraordinary experience with rare wildlife sightings. Activities included kayaking, safaris, nature walks, and a surprise encounter with a tiger during a boat cruise.
